I had the opportunity and honor to follow backstage the Anglo-Italian singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti during his last tour date at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome and Elisa’s Clubs Tour in Italy (Milan and Rome) in December 2014.
Jack Savoretti is quite big in England and becoming very popular in Italy as well after his 2012 record “Before the Storm” was out.
In February 2015 he is realeasing his new album “Written in Scars” in February, with many great songs I had the privilege to listen to.
Being with the artist, the band and the crew backstage and on the stage, to meet Elisa, and hang out with the guys was a totally a new experience for me. We did a lot of filming during those events and are planning to release some videos very soon.
At Alcatraz, in Milan he performed Tie me down, Written in Scars, Not Worthy and Changes (with Elisa); while in Rome at Atlantico, the acoustic setlist was Tie me down, Home, Not Worthy and Changes (with Elisa). In both venues Elisa invited Jack to sing Halleluja together (Jeff Buckley’s version).
And here’s is the surprise!
The video I realized at the Auditorium in Rome was chosen to support the Amazon UK record sell. So you can watch the video before and while you are buyin Written in Scars. (Go to this page: Jack Savoretti on Amazon UK)
